    Definitely Dr. Strangelove - all of the roles he played in that were fabulous.

      I was also pleasantly surprised to see him in Lolita.

            agreed. the novel was delicious though. i am not sure any film can truly capture Nabokov's mastery of language.
            so glad sellers was in lolita to demonstrate his range & versatility as an actor.

              He is great even in crap movies. I can watch The Party once a month...it is in my Top 10, comedy or otherwise...so Hrundi V.
              Bakshi is a piece of piss for my favorite performance/character
              of his, but I have a really soft spot for Dr. Pratt in The Wrong Box. It's only a supporting role, but man, talk about a character unlike any other in film. He is just bananas in it...and look at Dr. Fassbender in What's New Pussycat? Obviously Sellers had an unmatched talent for playing quack docors with weird accents and weirder hair-do's.
